gearing up

When we first got married, two people gave us bikes. Then my dad dug a bike out of the dumpster at his condo complex. That bike seemed really nice, so we gave up the other two bikes and put out focus on the bike from the dumpster. Well... that bike is giving us a lot of problems - so night Amy an I used FHE to go to a few Goodwills in the area and look at bikes. We didn't buy a bike tonight, but I gained a much better understanding of what Amy is looking for in a bike and what is wrong with her current bike.

  1. I'm glad you've gotten a better idea of what she wants, hopefully of what you want too. Some bikes are awesome, but just too expensive. The key is finding the bike with everything you want at a reasonable price. Check Mad Catz bikes, they might have a website that's where I got my bike, not sure if they have one in vallejo though. Also, ordering a bike online, and having them ship it to the nearest bike shop is a cheaper option and you get to pick what color and stuff. And if it goes to the bike store first, then they assemble it. But most new bikes cost between $300 and $1,000.
